Why I like this race: Its a local race close to home. THe race route runs through Laguna Hills senior village, and its very moving and charming to see all the people there cheering the runners! The medals are super awesome!

Renegade Summer 5 Mile Trail Run Series

Why I like this race: I have done this race last year. Its just a very low key local race, that you can do after work on a thursday evening. It comes with a BBQ. Even tho there is no finisher medals, the proceed goes towards WeRock kids foundation, which does great things with helping kids run in OC!

Long Beach Marathon/Half Marathon

Why I like this race: Mostly because its part of Beach Cities Challenge. I don’t like their late start time, and the course is little crowded but its just another race to check off here in OC! I signed up to do the Marathon here, and even tho the course is not that scenic, its a flat course.

Why I like this Race: I signed up to do this race last year part of Beach Cities Challenge, and I really like running in Huntington Beach.(Surfcity10 and this race). Its beautiful course, tons of crowd and super crazy medals. They really pimp up their finisher medals. and the Marathon here is one of the top 20 Boston Qualifiers!

OC Marathon/Half Marathon/5k

I don’t know if the prices for OC goes up or not, but the race is next weekend, so I am including that part of this blog!. 5k is on May 6th evening, and rest of the races are Sunday morning.

Why I Like this race: Mostly because its part of beach cities combo series, and the fact that its only like 10min drive from my home, which is refreshing because I am always driving about an hour to go do races.
