2nd annual Run To Remember Race takes place on February 12, 2017. (For those of you doing Beach Cities Challenge, in OC/LB/HB area, SurfCity Marathon weekend is on February 5th 2017). Run To Remember Race, honors all 1st Responders by celebrating their service and giving back to the community. The race was started last year by Police Officers and their friends to show support for the 1st responders who have made the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives in the line of duty.

The race weekend has a Half Marathon and a 10k. Course starts at the Grove, and runs through Paramount Picture Studios, and Hollywood, providing the LA experience! Race registration comes with the standard, tech T, finisher medal/badge/Chip Timing. The course is USATF certified. Its not a flat course, as you gain about 300ft elevation.

The run is for a worthy cause, and if you are looking for a race to do in LA, in February next year, consider this race! Their medals are pretty awesome too!

Registration is open at $95 online. However as a Long Beach Marathon special, they are offering a $80 registration fee for another week. You need to download and fill out the PDF and mention Long Beach Marathon Special Price as a note on the form, and enclose a check for $80 (http://www.runtorememberla.org/images/R2R-Race-App-2017.pdf) and mail it. 10k is available at $50, and virtual race is available at $50 as well.
