Its Halloween in a week, and there starts the holiday. I thought I would write about some of the up coming races I am doing and other ones I am interested in.

LA Rock and Roll Half Marathon – October 30th 2016

1. What: Half Marathon and 5k in LA by Rock and Roll Race series. This is holiday themed.
2. When: October 30th 2016
3. Where : LA
4. $$: $150 for half, and $55 for 5k. Online registration is closed. But I dont think they are at capacity.

6. Course time limit: They do have strict course timelimit of 3+ hours. If you plan on walking, there are de-tours to skip few miles designed into the course plan.
7. My comment: If you like city races, this is really a fun one!

Renegade Holiday Series – Halloween (Oct 30th 2016)

1. What: this is a 3 part holiday series. a Halloween race(10mile/10k/5k) at Sal Creek Beach in OC, (Thanks Giving Race in San Dimas(5k/10k), a Christmas Theme one in Irvine. )
2. When : Halloween Race, October 30th – Salt Creek Beach in OC.
3. $$: $37/$42/$85 for 5k/10k/10 miler. $105 for all the 3 series. (no discount on the 3 series package).

6. My Comment: They will have pacers for 10miler, and I genuinely like Renegade race series and how this race is very much community focused. This is one of the few races that allow fax in/mail in fees. I like that about this race.

Lexus Laceup – Palos Verdes – November 19th 2016

1. What: its the 3rd of the Lexus Laceup Series. There is a 5k/10k and a half marathon.
2. When: November 19th 2016 – Saturday Race
3. $$: $45/$75/$100 for 5k/10k/half.

6. My Comment: this is one of the well organized race, and you get free food/beer/race photos/nice lexus shopping bag, water bottle/tech-t/finisher medal. I absolutely love this race series. read more about my race experience here.

Renegade Holiday Series – Thanks Giving Race (November 19th 2016)

1. What: Its the 2nd of Renegade Holiday Seires. there is a 5k and 10k. Also a kids race.
2. When: November 19th 2016 – Saturday Race

6. My Comment: Renegade Races are one of my favorite races in OC. They are local, and organize some of my favorite races such as Xterra/Laguna Hills Memorial. Keep this in your list for a fun race with your entire family!

Lexus Laceup – Riverside – December 4th 2016

1. What: Last stop for Lexus Laceup Running Series. 5k/10k and Half. Also a kids race.
2. When: December 4th 2016 – Sunday Race(Only Sunday race of this series!)
3. $$:  $40/$60/$85 for 5k/10k/half

San Diego Holiday Half Marathon – December 18th 2016

1. What: Point to Point Half marathon course, with a 714 foot net drop that promises to be PR friendly  + 3500 cap on runners for better experience!
2. When: December 18th 2016(Sunday Race)
3. $$:  $99 for half.

6. My Comments: I never done this race, but our friend Brittany who has raced all her life, and my other running friends from our running group are running this race and highly recommend it! I really want to do this race for what hear ‘awesome swags!’.
