It almost feels surreal, that the last stop of Lexus Laceup Running series – is here – this weekend. Back in September, my friends and I ran Lexus Laceup Series – first stop – Irvine, one. 5 of us, Agatha, Amber, Ashley with her pregger belly, my boy friend Matt and I. Our friends Britany and her husband joined for a 5k as well! Its a small race compare to other big city 12,000 entry races. Participation is usually less than 1000, lot of people, but not too many to feel like a crowd. They have everything I like about in a race. Race Day BIB pickup, nice t-shirt, free beer at the end, and to top it all off, food catered at every one of the races!

The courses have been beautiful in every race we had participated in. The ventura half I did part of hte Lexus Laceup is my PR, so its a special race event for me! Running this race every month, now I feel like I pretty much know everyone at the course, and sure enough, you will see lot of friendly runners and smiles! Its almost like a Lexus race Family. Unlike other series events, this one takes place every month, so I get to see most same repeat runners, at the course. The bond we have created amongst ourselves as running family at this event is incredible! In a way I will be sad, when I cross my last mile at the Riverside Race this weekend that this year’s Lexus Laceup series is over!

To get back to business, Lexus Laceup Running Series’ last stop is at Riverside this weekend. Unlike their other 3 races, this one is on a Sunday – December 4th. The course chart, isnt has hard as it looked for Palos Verdes, but I would recommend you all do your squats, because I do see some good amount of up hills.

Races include a 5k, 10k, half marathon and kids run.

1. 5k is $40.
2. 10k is $60
3. Half Marathon is $85
4. Kids Run is $15

I like Lexus Laceup Races for their community feel, and free swag. Also, if you are training for a full marathon or other big races, this would be a perfect race to do as a training run.
